Today I am house sitting for my wishfully adoptive mother who is gone on a business trip. I am taking care of Zeus, who is probably the most aggressive sighthound on the face of the world, and by world I mean Portland. I should take him and go running for the day, but it has been dumping down rain all morning and I am having trouble making myself leave the comfort of my windowside book and blankets.

So, I am semibored, but glad for the excuse to be away from my visiting family who has been here since Monday, and 5 too many days. They are leaving this morning, so sometime after while I have to trundle back across town and say goodbye.
